With the New Year here, I know many of us are thinking about our new goals and resolutions for the year ahead. If you're anything like me than your finances are always a part of your new goals for the new year.  If there's one thing I've learned as an adult, it's that it's very important to plan ahead when it comes to your monthly spending and finances for your overall financial well-being.  This is especially important if you are a parent like me or have anyone in your life that depends on you and your income to meet their everyday needs. In order to take some of the stress out of my own family's future, I've been looking into life insurance options and quotes for the year.  If you aren't familiar, life insurance is an agreement that says if you were to pass away, your insurer would provide a previously agreed upon amount of money to help your loved ones.

I'm getting a term life insurance quote to estimate how much it would cost me to get life insurance for my children and answer some questions I have about the process.  During my research, I've learned that life insurance covers anything your family may need it for including mortgage payments, paying off debt or even things like groceries for your kids.  The amount of coverage each individual needs will differ but as a general rule it should be around five times your annual salary. It's important to take into consideration any outstanding debts you may have, education for your kids and any future goals you have for your dependents when deciding the final amount.

Term life insurance means that you would be covered for a specific amount of time.  For instance, if you had term life insurance for 20 years, if you passed away during that 20 year time frame, your loved ones would receive the money to help them with any bills, outstanding debts or necessities they need.  This is so beneficial when you have people who are dependent on your income to meet their basic needs.

If you're interested in seeing how much it would cost for you to get term life insurance, there are many life insurance websites that offer instant decisions and affordable policies.  Fabric combines a modern online application with policies from Vantis Life and a Penn Mutual company!

Have you ever gotten a term life insurance quote before?

As always, thanks so much for stopping by!
