I'm so happy it's the New Year, and you know I have been trying all kinds of new makeup and skincare since the holidays, so I'm hear to spill the details on all of my favorite new products!

Over the holidays I ran out of my Anastasia Brow Wiz and was in the mood to try something different for my brows.  I've always loved Rimmel as a brand and decided to try out their Brow This Way Sculpting Kit.  It was so different to me at first because I was so used to the Brow Wiz, but I actually think I may love this more!  The wax really helps you easily shape your brows (which is the hardest part, am I right?!) and then you use the powder to fill in the rest of your brow.  Usually brushes that come with makeup aren't that great, but I actually really love these and think they help tremendously with getting your perfect brow on!  They have different shades and for under $5 this is a steal!

Sticking with Rimmel, I also grabbed their Lasting Finish Foundation which I have been dying to try forever!  And you guys, this foundation has the best smell.  It smells like really good shampoo.  I know that sounds so weird but I've never had a foundation smell so good!  It's under $8 which is amazing because I feel like lately drugstore foundations are getting pricey.  This foundation is medium to full coverage and wears really nicely all day long for me!  I love it for everyday wear.

Lately, I've been really into wing eyeliner when I'm taking pictures for my blog so I was on the hunt for a good liquid liner that wasn't too hard to use (because I struggle with winged liner!).  I found the Rodial Liquid Liner and I am obsessed.  The tip is the perfect width so that I'm not trying to thicken my wing which usually equals me ruining it.  Haha.  It's a little pricey but definitely worth it if you wear a wing most days!

If you take a lot of pictures or film videos and want a foundation that is going to make your skin look flawless, the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation is for you!  I wear this whenever I'm taking blog photos or have an event I have to go too.  It literally makes your skin look flawless!  This foundation covers imperfections so well and doesn't feel like you are wearing foundation.  It is a little pricey but 110% worth every cent.

For my lips, I am a glossy girl.  I wear lip gloss all the time but also love my bright pink lips!  If you're anything like me than having two products in one tube would be perfect and thanks to Rimmel it exists!  I'm a huge Rimmel fan so it's no surprise that I love their Provocalips 16 Hour Kiss Proof Lip Colour.  They have a lot of shades and I love that I am able to have one side for color and one for gloss.  The color lasts a really long time but I've never worn it for 16 hours so I can't attest to that.  Overall, I love these!

Because I have really dry skin, I have to use a really hydrating primer before applying my foundation.  My favorite primer right now is the Make Up For Ever Hydrating Primer.  It's the best primer I have ever used for my dry skin.  Usually by the end of the day my T zone gets insanely dry and my foundation starts to look really cakey and clings to my dry patches but whenever I use this product that never happens!  I'm in love with it to say the least. :)

Lastly, I've been really obsessed with expensive mascara lately and was wanting to find a drugstore mascara that I loved just as much as my more expensive mascaras and I'm happy to say I found one that is amazing!  The Rimmel ScandalEyes mascara has a wand that is really similar to the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara wand (in my opinion) and it volumizes and lengthens my lashes without making them clumpy and flakey.  I have a huge problem with mascaras constantly flaking on me so I love when I find ones that don't.  This mascara is under $5 and a total steal!

Last year I really focused on improving my skincare regime and this year is no exception.  The older I'm getting, the more important is it to me to focus on my skincare and keep my skin as nice as I can!  I have really dry and sensitive skin so sometimes it can be a challenge finding products that don't irritate or dry out my skin.  This Nip + Fab Kale Fix Clay Mask is really amazing at cleaning out all of my pores and pulling out impurities without drying my skin out even more.  I love using this twice a week and it doesn't irritate my skin at all which is a huge plus!  Afterwards I love using the Nip + Fab Dragon's Blood Hylaronic Shot to really hydrate my skin after the mask.

I have recently fallen head over heels in love with Origins the brand.  I have been wanting to try them for so long and boy am I glad I finally did!  I'm pretty much obsessed with all of the products I've tried so far.  The Origins Clean Energy Gentle Cleansing Oil is my favorite way to take of my makeup lately.  I feel like it takes off my makeup while at the same time soothing my skin.  It's the weirdest yet most amazing thing.  I'm hooked!

After I take off my makeup, I love using the Origins High Potency Night a Mins Skin Refining Oil to help brighten and smooth my skin.  I've been using it for a few weeks and my skin truly looks amazing.  I feel like my skin has a glowing from within look that it hasn't had in a long time. I also really really appreciate that it has no parabens, sulfates or phtlalates in its formula.  It absorbs really quickly into my skin so I don't have to wait very long before applying my moisturizer.

For moisturizer, I have been using the Origins Make a Difference Plus Rejuvenating Moisturizer.  This moisturizer is perfect for my dry skin which is even drier in the winter time.  It helps my skin look hydrated all day and night and has eliminated my dry patches!  If you struggle with dry skin or have normal skin that gets dry in the winter I can't recommend this moisturizer enough!

If there is one product that has completely wowed me from the Origins line it is this GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream.  I have the WORST under eye circles ever since I've had Lilly.  Before I had her I would never even wear concealer because I didn't need it.  Now, I have to have FULL coverage concealer!  Haha.  It really is bad though.  I use this eye cream in the morning before my makeup and I swear my dark circles almost disappear after I use it.  I feel like there is magic in this eye cream!!  I can even use a more light to medium concealer and end up with the same coverage.  It's truly amazing stuff!!!

Lastly, this Origins Ginger Savory Bath Bar is the most amazing smelling bath bar I have ever used. Admittedly, is is the most expensive bath bar I have ever used.  But the smell is so amazing I think it is worth it!!

I hope you all have a great start to your week & thank you so much for stopping by!

XOXO Cassie
