I feel like the title of this post should be my favorite childhood clothing items!  Haha!  Seriously though, turtlenecks and overalls used to be my jam.  Funny story, one time I had this pair of overalls with a huge front pocket in the front.  I was maybe 5 or 6 years old.  I was playing outside and saw a really tiny kitten in our garden.  I scooped her up and hid her in my front pocket until I got to my room at home.  I tried to hide her from my parents, but she ended up following me out into the kitchen later that evening! Busted!  I've always had a huge love for animals and it started at a young age, and thankfully my parents checked around and that kitten was a stray so we got to keep her!

Okay I'm done reminiscing now, lol. I love going for a strict color palette with my outfits some days.  Today I choose a classic black and white look with different prints.  I love the contrast of the stark black overalls with the all white clutch and the mix of the two colors in the striped turtleneck.  I kept the look casual by pairing it with my favorite high top Converse.
