As a huge fan of The Walking Dead, I was so excited when I learned there was a wine to go along with the comic books!  Although I'm not a wine connoisseur, me and my friends and family love to get together and enjoy a glass of wine together and have a good time catching up on the weekends.  We all love The Walking Dead, so I couldn't wait to get my hands on their two wines!


When I got to my local store they actually hadn't even unboxed the wines and put them on the shelves, but they were so kind to let me purchase one of each.  You can find The Walking Dead Blood Red Blend and The Walking Dead Cabernet Sauvignon at your local Kroger, Ralph's or Fred Meyer.  


The coolest part about these wines is that you can download an app called Living Wine Labels through Google Play or the Apple Store and learn stories behind each wine bottle.  It's free and sooo incredibly fun!  There's augmented reality experiences from each wine label and you can even have the two bottles interact and play with each other!  


If you're not familiar with The Walking Dead, there is an epidemic that sweeps the globe causing the dead to rise and start feeding on the living.  Within months, society has crumbled, there is no government, television, grocery stores, mail services, etc.  But there is wine! ;)  For this augmented reality experience, you open the app and place your phone camera over the label and you will see Rick Grimes defending himself against a walker!


For the Cabernet Sauvignon, you'll see a walker break through your wine bottle trying to get to you!  For bottle interactions, you'll have to get them yourself and play on the app.  I promise you'll love it!  Me and my friends had so much fun playing on the app with the wine bottles and enjoying the delicious wine inside.  If you're a fan of The Walking Dead, wine or just love fun times with your friends I know you'll love this experience between The Walking Dead wine and the Living Wine Labels app.
