I've been wanting to try the new scarf trend for quite a while, but I couldn't seem to find the perfect designer scarf brand to commit to.  I'm thankful I found Echo New York with all of their cute scarf designs!  I chose the ditzy patchwork silk diamond scarf but they have so many scarf designs to choose from that it will be easy to find your perfect scarf!

If you're still searching for the perfect Mother's Day gift, one of these scarves would be perfect!  The scarves are so timeless and versatile that they would be perfect for women of all generations.  They are also very high quality with great price points, so they make for the perfect gift for someone special in your life.  Getting matching scarves for you and your mom would be super cute as well (if you have the same taste!).

There are so many ways you can wear a scarf in the summer time, so don't be discouraged if you want to try out the trend.  You can wear it around your neck loosely like I have here or tie it like a choker on your neck as well.  You can wear it around your purse handles or even as a headband in your hair!  For your purse handles, you can wrap it around the handles and have it cover them or tie it loosely in a knot like I have on my neck.  I'm planning on wearing it tied around my ponytails for the hot summer L.A. days coming up!

The silk of this scarf is really soft and breathable so it doesn't feel uncomfortable around my neck at all, especially in the heat, which is a huge plus if you live in areas that get really hot in the summertime.

I used this silk scarf and heels to dress up a very casual outfit that could easily be dressed down for daytime.  This off the shoulder coral tee is SO comfortable and cute for summer time.  It does run a little big so I would recommend sizing down if you want a more fitted look.  I would've sized down if I knew because I think it looks a little too large here.  I paired it with linen shorts for a casual yet pulled together look.  Linen shorts are my favorite in the summertime.  I feel like they are so much more comfortable than jean shorts for some reason.  If you wanted to dress this look down, you could add flip flops or sneakers with your hair in a ponytail and call it a day.  I'm actually planning on dressing down this look for walking around L.A. this summer!

Also, I've had so many people ask me about these sunglasses and I love them!  They are so fun and summery.  I would highly recommend snagging a pair, especially since they are under $8!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I hope you have a fun and stress free weekend!
