If you've been following me for awhile, then you know that I am passionate about health and wellness in my day to day life.  Although I was never really concerned about either until becoming a mother.  I feel like when I became a mother all I could focus on was being the best and healthiest version of myself that I could be so my daughter would pick up those same habits from me.  One of the things I quickly learned about was all of the icky chemicals in all of the products we use everyday, especially in children's beds!  I knew I wanted to find a bed for Lilly that I would feel safe and comfortable letting her sleep in.  Because let's face it, we spend a lot of time in our beds every night!  


I was so excited when Newton Baby sent over the Newton Baby Wovenaire Crib Mattress for us to try because Lilly could use it as an infant and as a toddler.  The Newton Baby mattress is 100% breathable, washable and recyclable!  It's even free of all the chemicals and toxins that I was afraid of.  My favorite feature is that the outside of the mattress can be thrown directly into the washing machine to be washed and the core of the mattress can be sprayed down in the tub!  I know all of my fellow mamas can appreciate that feature with diaper blow outs, throw up and night time potty accidents as a toddler.  I've washed our mattress cover more times than I can count and it still looks perfect and is most importantly clean!  


I also really love that the core of the mattress is designed for maximum airflow which helps your child regulate their body temperature better and therefore sleep longer.  Such a life saver, since us mamas need all the sleep we can get!  My other favorite feature is that it's only 11 pounds total so it's super easy for me to lift and wash myself without any help at all.  We are seriously so in love with our mattress and I can't imagine using any other brand of mattress in the future for my kids.  This one is seriously perfect for us and I know you'll love it too!
