Outfit Details:

To say that I'm obsessed with this dress would be a total understatement.  It it so incredibly comfortable and goes with so much in the fall and winter.  You can easily layer vests, jackets, or cardigans over this for a little extra warmth and dimension to your outfit.  I also love how it flows and lays perfectly on your body!  You know when a dress is made out of a super lightweight material and it won't lay right on your body, not an issue with this dress!  I've literally worn this dress 3 or 4 days out of the week some weeks because it's just that perfect.

I found this dress at Pulse Fashion and if you haven't browsed their website yet you are definitely missing out!  I hadn't heard of them until recently, but I'm so glad I found them! They have the cutest stuff for really great prices!  And you all know I love a good deal.  I'm loving this maxi dress for spring and this polka dot dress for summer!  You all know I'm ready for warm weather any day now! :) (fingers crossed!)

This past weekend we took a trip down to San Diego and I decided to pretty much ignore my phone and computer and just live in the moment and enjoy it with my mom and Lilly.  It was soooo nice and refreshing to just have fun and not worry about what everyone is doing online or should I be posting about what we're doing or if I should try to get a really cute shot in front of this beautiful thing we're seeing on vacation.  If you follow me on Instagram then you probably saw I haven't posted a picture in almost a week! I think it's a good lesson for all of us to take a little more time to live.  Live our real lives.  Sometimes with the accessibility and fun surrounding social media I think we can forget to enjoy the moment with the people around us.  The people that mean the most.  I've even heard fellow influencers talk about how their constant attention on their phones is leading to problems with the people in their "real lives".  I think we should all remember that although social media is fun and uplifting and wonderful, the people that matter the absolute most are our friends and family and kids.  The people we see and live with everyday!  We shouldn't neglect those relationships for online interaction, even though interacting with all of my readers is my absolute favorite part about being a so called "influencer".  Some moments are meant to be left off of social media and just enjoyed and remembered between friends.  I'm a super girly girl so I love talking and sharing about my favorite fashion and makeup finds with all of you, but how many likes I get on a picture or how many people are following me shouldn't define me or my happiness and it shouldn't define yours either.  We live in a world were so many people get so caught up in social media that their happiness depends on these things and I think that's a rabbit hole none of us need to go down.  I hope if you're feeling that way that you just toss aside your phone and computer and go do something fun with the people you love and remember what should actually be making you happy in life! :)

Sorry if I bored you all with my ramblings but it's just been on my mind a lot lately and I wanted to get it off my chest!  I hope you all are having an amazing week so far!  I seriously can't believe it's almost March.  I mean this year is seriously flying by!  They say the older you get the faster time goes and so far, so true for me anyways.  Do you all have any fun plans for March?!  Back home in Savannah, Saint Patrick's Day was always a good time so I know me and Lilly will be dressed up and celebrating here in L.A.!  We also have a trip planned for Joshua Tree so you all know I'm stoked about that!

Anyways, love you guys!  Thanks so much for reading!
