Sometimes trying to decide how to do your hair for a holiday party can be overwhelming. If you're anything like me, then you want to style your hair in a way that is festive, fun and pretty but that doesn't require an exorbitant amount of extra time or skills that you may not have. I have two easy hairstyles you can achieve regardless of your hair type or length and will only take a few minutes each! They are also perfect whether you are dressing up or staying cozy for your get together's.
First, you can take 4-6 hair barrettes and line them on one side of your hair to pull back your hair like I have done in the photos above. You can get barrettes to match your outfit like I did here with the gold and rose gold barrettes or if you can't find any you can always quickly spray paint barrettes red, green or whatever color you may need to match your outfit. I also curled my hair, but you can leave your hair straight, wavy, curl it whatever you prefer! You could even do a few small braids throughout your hair too. It's super easy and will only take a few minutes total time and is a classic timeless look with minimal effort needed.
Another super easy and fun hair style you can do for holiday get together's is to pull your hair into a half ponytail or a full ponytail and wrap a ribbon around the base of your ponytail in a bow. You can use any ribbon you have laying around the house or buy a small piece of ribbon to match your outfit for the night! If you wanted to be super festive you could even get printed ribbon with a holiday theme or very thin garland to use instead of ribbon! I curled my hair for this hairstyle too but you could easily leave your hair straight too if you'd like or do a half ponytail with the half ponytail braided and the rest of your hair curled. The options are really endless and I love how you can essentially do the same hairstyle so many different ways to make it fit your style and outfit. If you don't have any ribbon laying around you could even pin back half of your hair with a festive pin which would be equally adorable and easy to do. Another alternative is to curl you hair and use a festive headband in your hair. I love ones that have faux jewels for the holiday season but you could also find ones that are solid colored and match the outfit you will be wearing.
I know there are so many amazing hairstyles that can be done for the holiday season but I strive to find hairstyles that are pretty and don't require a lot of different steps and that you can easily achieve yourself!
What are some of your favorite ways to style your hair for holiday parties?!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
XOXO Cassie
